Didn't last
We bought this a year ago thinking it would at least last one kid. It did not. The volume control broke just a little over a year, right out of warranty. We recently bought a new parent unit to replace the broken one and it didnt come with a new battery. The reason I went ahead and bought a new parent unit was to replace the dying battery and the broken volume control. I see now on the site it doesnt come with a battery. But still, I paid almost $100 for the unit in hopes to fix all of our problems, it did not.

Broke first time it dropped on floor.
I liked it for the most part. But today I dropped it from a few feet and it destroyed the screen. We've become pretty dependent on the viewing system for checking on him so it needs to be replaced. Well that'll be a 100$ and they're not available probably because they break so easy.
