Préma Québec - Our Canadian Partner
Founded in 2003, Préma-Québec is an organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life of premature children by offering educational, psychological and financial support to their parents. Each year, approximately 6,000 children are born prematurely in Quebec. Ready not ready, it is approximately 12,000 new parents who find themselves hustled, anxious and weakened by the stressful experience of prematurity. Préma-Québec is there to accompany them during hospitalization and on their return home while raising awareness of prematurity and representing these families to the various political, legal and corporate bodies to improve their quality of life. Bliss – for babies born premature or sick - Our UK Partner
Bliss is the charity for babies born prematurely or sick. Every day 270 babies are admitted to neonatal care and Bliss is there to help support them and their families.
Angelcare UK’s Managing Director, Julie Ebrey, has a very personal relationship with Bliss after her son, Marc, was born at 24 weeks and one day. Julie recognises first hand the amazing work Bliss does on behalf of premature babies and their parents, and passionately champions this cause.
